Vinland Saga: More than a shonen, it is redemption.
As you may have noticed, Vinland Saga immerses us in a universe of Vikings, which explores the cruelty that was lived in Europe at that time, addressing quite well the nuances of what it is to be fair, but at the same time, makes it clear how far a person's ambition can go even if it has to border on evil.
The first season presents us with a very changeable story, with an innocent main character, Thorfinn, who ends up consumed by anger and revenge, where we will deal with fights with a lot of action and tragedy, but the second season shows us a considerable change.
A change that really reveals the author's intentions with this work, one where action and battles are not the central axis, but redemption, the ability to forgive and recover that life of peace that once we all had, but that through hatred, we let lose. Vinland Saga Without a doubt, it is an anime to reflect, understand, love and above all, forgive.
