Takahiro Kimura, known for being the character designer of Code Geass, dies

There's not much to say that you don't already know about the anime of Code Geass, considered by many users as one of the best original anime of all time and it is not for less, since it had an immersive story that fascinated more than one, but that was not all, its colorful characters connected impressively with viewers in every way, from their personality, to their designs and it is here, where unfortunately, we must make a parenthesis by the master who shaped the above and we refer to Takahiro Kimura, who unfortunately passed away.

Code Geass character designer Takahiro Kimura passes away

The unfortunate news was made public by the heads of Code Geass, who shared the unfortunate death both on the studio's official website and on its official account. Below we will share the Spanish translation of the farewell message to Takahiro Kimura:

"Notice of passing away of Mr. Takahiro Kimura. Takahiro Kimura, an animator who designed the characters of the Code Geass series. He passed away on March 5, 2023 after battling the incurable disease amyloidosis. In addition, at the request of the grieving family, we have decided to announce the name of the disease on this occasion. Mr. Kimura has created many characters in animation and illustrations. You have created a wonderful animated image that will touch your heart. I have nothing but words of thanks. All Code Geass staff members sincerely pray for the repose of your souls."

The news was released last March 9 and the disease that unfortunately took Mr. Takahiro, was amyloidosis, a disease that affects the proper functioning of one or more organs, such as the heart, kidney, liver, intestine, nervous system, etc. It is worth mentioning that this is a rare disease, so there is no cure for it and instead, there are only treatments to treat the symptoms.
