History of Sabito

Sabito was born in a small village in Japan, during the Taisho era. He was the son of a woodcutter and grew up in a modest home. When he was a child, the village he lived in was attacked by a demon, which killed all the inhabitants except him and another boy named Makomo. The two were found by the demon hunter Sakonji Urokodaki, who took them with him to train them in the art of demon hunting.

Sabito and Makomo spent years training together, eventually becoming expert demon hunters. Both were selected by Sakonji to take a final test to become official demon hunters. The test consisted of surviving on a dangerous mountain full of traps and demons for six months, and then returning with a snowball given to them by Sakonji.

Sabito and Makomo managed to survive and complete the test, but when they returned, they discovered that Sakonji had only survived due to a special water breathing technique that had allowed him to sleep under the ice of a nearby river. Sabito and Makomo felt betrayed and decided to abandon Sakonji and join other demon hunters.

After parting ways with Sakonji, Sabito and Makomo began working with other demon hunters to protect people from evil. Eventually, they met Tanjiro Kamado, who would become their close friend.
